Are you currently working on your wedding theme ? Trying to find decorations ? Deciding on a color palette maybe ? If your style or the style you are going for is sophisticated and romantic, you should take a look at the baroque chic trend.
When at the latest wedding fair at the Carrousel in Paris, we fell in love with the decor set up for the occasion. There, right in a middle of a little living room, stood an imposing diner table. On the table a gigantic tiered cake was displayed to catch the eyes of the onlookers.
Color wise, a gold and old rose combo gave the display it's warm light and regal yet sweet atmosphere.
The abundance of flowers and the softness of the colors were perfect for a romantic yet queenly ambiance, and, yes a little of a shabby chic vibe, so perfect for a wedding !
Shabby Chic inspiration
Three main colors are used for this decor : white for purity, gold for the touch of lux, and some old shades of pink to add some softness, romanticism and poetry.
Pendant, charms, cristal glasses, candelabras… Don't be afraid to make it shine embrace the lux and the magic.
The idea we want to steal : hanging planters of falling foliage and test-tubes filled with water and flowers from the ceiling of the reception hall. It's just perfect to create a cosy, private atmosphere.
Something new : A ball shaped bouquet of Hydrangeas and roses.
